vinyasa beginning

This class builds strength, stamina, flexibility, confidencespatial awareness and nimble movement ability.

Learn the foundational poses and to link movement with breathing. Learn to use yoga props, to place your hands|feet and to increase pelvic|spine awareness so that the dynamic movement sequences are integrated and safe.

This class builds strength, stamina, flexibility, confidencespatial awareness and nimble movement ability.

Learn variations of the foundational, intermediate poses and breathing. Learn to make more challenging transitions between poses.


vinyasa core

This all-levels class builds strength, stamina, flexibility, confidencespatial awareness and nimble movement ability.

Learn both basic|intermediate, more complex variations and hybrids of all the yoga poses. Emphasis is on the continuity of your awareness, integration of your body + mind and overall control of your mental and physical strength. In this variation of vinyasa, physical and mental core awareness is heightened for more challenging poses.


vinyasa power

This all-levels class builds strength, stamina, flexibility, confidencespatial awareness and nimble movement ability.

Learn both basic|intermediate, more complex variations and hybrids of all the yoga poses. Emphasis is on the continuity of your awareness, integration of your body + mind and overall control of your mental and physical strength. In this variation of vinyasa, poses are held longer for more alignment awareness.


HATHA

regulation of the breath, longer durations, focus on alignment, fun

This class builds strength, stamina, flexibility and spatial awareness.

Practice a sequence focused on a specific action in the body. Poses will be foundational with variations and longer holds emphasizing strength, alignment and finding ease with the breath.

This all-levels class builds strength, stamina, flexibility and spatial awareness.

Practice a sequence focused on a specific action in the body. Poses will be foundational with variations and longer holds emphasizing strength, alignment and finding ease with the breath. The class concludes with a nice, long juicy restorative pose :)

YIN

deep connection, harmony, balance, peace, flexibility of mind and body

candlepure yin

The focus is on balancing + toning the pervasive connective tissues and exploring the inner terrain of the body through self- inquiry. Like getting acupuncture without the needles, you will clear out energetic blockages with long slowly held postures.......free flowing energy and clarity of mind and body are the results. This class is the perfect compliment to your more active yoga practice. All levels welcome.


yin | yang fusion

In this class you will practice both active (yang) yoga and passive (yin) yoga. All levels welcome.

In this meditation group you will be supported by others who are also cultivating a sitting meditation practice. Various meditation techniques will be offered such as mindfulness and loving-kindness. Discussion and a 20-25 minute meditation will be offered in every sitting.


simplelife meditation mornings

In this meditation group you will be supported by others who are also cultivating a more substantial sitting and walking practice. Unguided meditation time and space are offered with a schedule alternating between sitting and walking.

RESTORATIVE

stillness, rest, nothing to do... but be

Treat yourself to a restorative yoga class to bring yourself to a place of calm. Cultivate a receptive awareness so that your body can do what it does best: HEAL. Time is your friend in finding what has become a rare skill: becoming STILL. Recreate yourself in a new LIGHT and feel the power of RELEASE and SURRENDER. Rejuvenate your spirit and renew your life. There is nothing to do or achieve here in this place of REST. All levels welcome.


BARRE sculpt

lower|upper body strength and tone, grace, balance

Based in yoga, ballet and strength training, you will learn movements to support your ability to balance and to strengthen the upper + lower body so that you have more physical and mental confidence to balance away from the barre. This is a great compliment to your regular yoga practices. All levels welcome.


PRENATAL

strength, focus, flexibility, gentle

Expect a combination of active, flowing poses as well as restorative poses to relax and re-energize. Simple breathing and meditation techniques will be introduced. This is the perfect time to foster mindfulness and deepen your awareness of your body. Designed to instill confidence in the innate wisdom of the female anatomy, and to increase peace and ease as you journey through this magical time. All levels welcome.


BABY AND ME

all levels, bonding, fun, soothing

Tailored for mothers who have recently given birth. Babies who are not yet crawling are welcome in the room with you. This is a time to come together with other mothers, bond with your baby, and sneak in a little yoga too. We invite you to feed, soothe, and change your baby as needed during class.
