Come join us in this rare opportunity to study Yantra Yoga with authorized teacher Luke Karamol. This course is a practice session of the practice of Yantra Yoga, an uninterrupted lineage of yoga from Tibet and will focus on complete breathing as well as the preliminary practices. It is the foundation for further study and practice and can be utilized as a stand alone practice. Yantra Yoga’s unique series of positions and movements, combined with conscious breathing, can help coordinate and harmonize one’s personal energy so as to let the mind relax and find its authentic balance, which is the basis for contemplation. This is a superb method to attain optimal health, relaxation, and harmony through the coordination of breath and movement. It is open to both new and experienced practitioners. In this session, we will practice: the nine Purification breathings; a series for loosening the joints;the eight basic movements for purifying the prana, in which we train different methods of breathing as well as four kinds of holdings of the air; the exercises for controlling the channels as well as the pranayama associated with this series.
